Tranquility

I have experienced moments of stillness that are so complete the world seems to roll away yet be at its most sublime in the same instant. A sense of interconnectedness, yet the diminutive nature of self, is almost overwhelming. It is a blend of opposites, the two sides of a coin, yin and yang; it is tranquility.

Tranquility is a state of calmness, peace, and serenity. It is a feeling of being free from any kind of disturbance or agitation. Tranquility can be achieved in different ways, such as through meditation, spending time in nature, engaging in calming activities like reading or listening to soft music, or simply taking a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
