Preparation to Receive

1. Sit comfortably in a chair or on a cushion, maintaining an upright posture. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, allowing yourself to relax and let go of any distractions.
2. Invoke a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to receive the Reiki attunement and all the divine guidance that comes with it.
3. Visualize yourself surrounded by a warm, golden light, symbolizing the universal energy that flows through you and all living beings.

Opening Reiki Attunement Ceremony

1. Light a candle or an incense stick to mark the beginning of the ceremony, signifying the presence of divine energy.
2. State your intention aloud for the attunement, expressing your dedication to healing, growth, and service to others.
3. Call upon the Reiki Masters Mikao Usui and Hawayo Takata and any other spiritual guides to assist and guide you through this sacred process.

Reiki Attunement Process

1. Place your hands on your heart center and take a moment to connect with your own energy. Feel your heartbeat and the warmth emanating from your hands.
2. Once centered, speak the following affirmation: “I now open myself to receive the Reiki attunement, attuning my body, mind, and spirit to the universal life force energy.”
3. You will then be guided through a gentle meditation to prepare your vessel for the attunement with your hands in prayer over the heart chakra such as: Imagine a beam of brilliant white light entering through the top of your head, flowing down to your heart. Allow this light to radiate throughout your entire being, cleansing and purifying any blockages or stagnant energy.
4. The Reiki Master will then anchor Reiki symbols into the Crown, Hand, and Root Chakras. During a Reiki attunement, the Master channels the universal life force energy to activate and harmonize the recipient’s energy centers, known as chakras.

Anchoring The Reiki Symbols

Throughout the Reiki attunement process, the anchoring of four symbols into the Crown, Hand, and Root chakras serves to amplify the healing energy, deepen the connection with universal life force energy, and bring harmony and balance to the recipient’s energetic system. These symbols act as powerful tools that enhance the healing journey and support the overall well-being of the individual, promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

By anchoring Reiki symbols into the Crown, Hand, and Root chakras, the practitioner enables the recipient to access the healing qualities and vibrations associated with the symbols. 1. Crown Chakra: The Crown chakra, located at the top of the head, is associated with spiritual connection, higher consciousness, and divine wisdom. To anchor a Reiki symbol into the Crown chakra during an attunement, the practitioner visualizes the symbols being infused directly into the recipient’s energy center. 2. Hand Chakras: The Hand chakras are essential in both giving and receiving Reiki energy. These energy centers, located in the palms of the hands, are directly connected to the practitioner’s ability to channel healing energy. When anchoring Reiki symbols into the Hand chakras, the practitioner can visualize the symbols radiating from their own palms into the recipient’s hand chakras, creating a powerful energetic connection. 3. Root Chakra: The Root chakra, situated at the base of the spine, is responsible for grounding, stability, and a sense of security. When anchoring Reiki symbols into the Root chakra, the practitioner focuses on directing the symbol’s energy into this vital energy center. The symbol’s energy assists in balancing and strengthening the Root chakra, promoting stability, grounding, and a deeper connection with the Earth’s healing energies. This process helps the recipient feel more centered, secure, and energetically aligned.
4. Once the anchoring ceremony is complete, you will be asked to repeat the affirmation: “I am now attuned to the healing energies of Reiki. I am a vessel for divine love and light.”
5. Visualize symbols of Reiki, such as the CKR, SH, and HSZSN, enveloping you, activating and anchoring the energy within you.
6. Take a few moments to sit in silence and bask in the divine energy flowing through you. Feel the sensation of balance, harmony, and love encompassing your entire being.

Closing Reiki Attunement Ceremony

1. Express your gratitude for the Reiki attunement and the blessings it brings into your life. Thank the Reiki Masters and your spiritual guides for their support.
2. Blow out the candle or extinguish the incense, symbolizing the completion of the ceremony.
3. Take a few deep breaths, grounding yourself and returning to the present moment.
4. When you are ready, slowly open your eyes and allow yourself to integrate the attunement experience.
